Welcome to Mango Bliss Spa, created by owner, Laura Popo. The term “bliss” means “a state of profound satisfaction, happiness and joy.” A sense of bliss for Laura comes from her love for the US Virgin Islands, which is carried throughout the spa. As well as a sentiment shared with her father, Bryan Urquhart for the enjoyment of sweet mangoes. This unique fruit has been used in desserts, perfumes and in medicinal treatments for many generations. In creating Mango Bliss Spa, Laura has combined her love for the two in the hopes that you too will find your little “slice” of happiness, right here.
Scuba Diving with Busy Bee Charters
Busy Bee Charters offers scuba diving!
The Busy Bee is the only PADI affiliated dive boat on the Coral Bay side of St John. Our dive offerings are primarily private, which means we cater specifically to you and your diving experience – not to a schedule or the other 11 divers. A matter of fact, even when we combine, we limit our boat to four divers maximum.
Got a mixed crew of divers and non-divers? Combine a standard full or half day snorkel/exploration trip with a dive charter by adding tanks!
If you are not a certified diver, you can take a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course – with 30 minutes of instruction you can be down to 40 feet below the surface under the watchful eye of our instructor. You can even add a DSD to a private charter!

Painkiller
INGREDIENTS
2.5 oz Dark Rum
3 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
1 oz Cream of Coconut
Nutmeg
Pineapple and Orange
Method
- Add all of the ingredients except for the nutmeg into a cocktail shaker with ice and vigorously shake to thoroughly incorporate the coconut cream.
- Strain into a double old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
- Grate fresh nutmeg on top.
For a sweeter, fruity Painkiller, use the official Pusser’s recipe of 4 oz of pineapple juice and 2 oz of rum. Pusser’s has trademarked their recipe and have been known to sue bars that opt to use a different dark rum.

Whether you’re into chilling by the bar chowing down on a delicious lunch, knocking back a ‘Painkiller’ under the awning, competing in one of their range of tournaments (from Bocce to Dominoes), attending a charity drive, getting in on their ‘any excuse to celebrate’ events, or simply soaking it all in beach-side, you’ll feel right at home at The Beach Bar.
